Michaela Gifford
Chief Financial Officer
Michaela has over 15 years of experience in Finance and Strategy across the globe, including fin-tech venture-backed startups, management consulting and global investment firms in Asia Pacific.
Most recently, Michaela led the FP&A, operations and vendor management functions at Point Digital Finance, a Series B fin-tech startup backed by some of the most prestigious Bay Area VCs. During her tenure, she led workflow automation and optimization leading to a 4x revenue increase in 2021 alone. Prior to Point, Michaela held domestic and international financial strategy positions at CFOs2Go, Nikko Asset Management and Rogers Investment Advisors, evaluating, planning and leading organic and inorganic corporate growth plans. Michaela started her career with IKEA Japan, as a High Potential Management Trainee, leading the market entry effort for the global retailer in Japan.
Michaela received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stockholm University and an MBA in Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
