Dr. Gabriel Chow specializes in macro to nanoscale materials characterization, thin film mechanical analysis, laser ultrasonics, and materials development. He has worked on projects involving biomimetic media, environmentally friendly coatings for wear and corrosion protection, optomechanical characterization of semiconductor materials, thin film batteries, dynamic rigid body analysis, and reliability testing of mechanical systems.
Gabriel received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. He also holds MS and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside. He is a co-inventor on one patent and has authored multiple journal articles.
